You will find here the general aspects of user accounts on this application, including the creation of an account and the associated features, such as importing spectra into the database.

Creating a user account

The first step to access the features of the web application is to create a user account. To do so, go to the dedicated registration page where you will be asked to enter a valid email address and choose a secure password. Be sure to provide an email address that you check regularly, as it will be used for communication with the support team and to retrieve your password in case you forget it.

Account validation

After submitting your registration information, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link to validate your account. Click on this link to activate your account and access the full functionality of the web application. Connection to the application

Be sure to respect the file formats accepted by the accepted by the platform and to provide the metadata associated to your spectrum, such as the date and time of the observation, instrument configuration and celestial coordinates of the observed object.

Manage and share your spectra

Once you have imported a spectrum into the database you can manage it from your user account. You will be able to organize your spectra, share them with other users compare them with other data, or submit them for further analysis by the community or the web application experts.
